This is the original B51 video, which is a bit out of date.
How to see missing files
- From the main menu select Android Fixes
- Click the item for Enable Manage All Files
- A system popup will appear, you need to turn on the slider
- After this the app can see more files, such as files downloaded via the browser, or transferred via usb
How to access to /Android/Data
- Start by accessing Local Files from the main menu
- Then choose All Folders
- Select the folder Android
- Select the folder Data
- You should receive an error message
- Two items are available at the bottom of the list
- If this is your first time choose Scoped Storage Actions
- This part is tricky, so pay attention
- Press Request Access, this will display the Scoped Storage popup
- Just press the Use Folder button
- If you don’t get a confirm popup
- If you get the confirmation popup, agree to it
- Press the Oculus button to return to the app
- Now, the app isn’t actually confirmed yet, do the following
- Press the item Crash 3 Apply
- The screen will be blank, press the Oculus button twice, you should return to the devices home screen
- Now re-open Mobile V Station
- At this point, the app should have been authorized to read / write into /Android/Data
- You can now go back a folder and use Switch to Scoped Storage
- If you have done this before, choose Switch to Scoped Storage
- If your headset has restarted, then you may need to use Scoped Storage Actions to re-apply for permissions
- If this is your first time choose Scoped Storage Actions
What is different under Scoped Storage?
- Many of the quick actions links won’t work, like install mod
- Can’t play files from Scoped Storage
- Can’t copy from (Not yet)
How to install Bonelab mods (Easy way)
- First, download mods with the Browser
- Open Mobile VR Station
- Access Local Files
- Access Downloads
- Find the zip files you just downloaded
- Tap it and use the action to Install (Scoped Storage)
- Choose Bonelab: Mods
How to install Blade & Sorcery: Nomad mods (Easy way)
- First, download mods with the Browser
- Open Mobile VR Station
- Access Local Files
- Access Downloads
- Find the zip files you just downloaded
- Tap it and use the action to Install (Scoped Storage)
- Choose BSN: Mods
How to install Bonelab mods (Hard way)
- First, download mods with the Browser
- Open Mobile VR Station
- Access Local Files
- Access Downloads
- Find the zip files you just downloaded
- Tap it and use the action to Extract Files
- Now back in the folder, use the icon at the top to View/Edit Toggle
- Find the folder that was just extracted and select it
- Click the Copy button at the top
- Use the View/Edit Toggle once again
- Navigate back to Local Files
- Select All Folder
- Select Android
- Select data
- You will receive an error message, use Switch to Scoped Storage
- From the updated list select com.StressLevelZero.BONELAB
- Select files
- Select Mods
- Use the View/Edit toggle and Paste the folders
How to edit the Bonelab repository.txt file
- Navigate back to Local Files
- Select All Folder
- Select Android
- Select data
- You will receive an error message, use Switch to Scoped Storage
- From the updated list select com.StressLevelZero.BONELAB
- Select files
- Find the repository.txt file and tap it
- Follow the prompts to access the editor
