Mobile VR Station is a media playback application designed to operate primarily offline. This Privacy Policy explains what limited data is processed when required for core functionality, how that data is used, and how users may manage or delete any associated information. This policy applies to Mobile VR Station across supported platforms, including Meta Quest and other storefronts where applicable.
Data Processed for In-App Purchases
Mobile VR Station offers optional premium upgrades that removes the five-minute playback limit or enables additional functionality. To support this functionality, the app uses the official in-app purchase systems provided by the platform storefront (such as Meta Quest IAP, Apple App Store IAP, Google Play IAP).
When the app checks purchase status, the following data may be processed through the platform’s APIs:
- Product identifier (SKU)
- Purchase or entitlement status
- Transaction or purchase reference ID
- Purchase grant time or timestamp
This data is provided by the platform solely to confirm whether the premium feature should be unlocked.
How this data is processed:
- Processed locally on the user’s device
- Used only to unlock or restore premium functionality
- Not stored by the developer
- Not transmitted to any developer-operated servers
The developer does not receive, retain, or have access to personal payment information, account details, or platform user identifiers.
Purpose of Processing
The sole purpose of processing in-app purchase data is to:
- Unlock premium playback features
- Restore purchases when the app is reinstalled or used on a new device
No data is used for advertising, analytics, profiling, or tracking.
Data Retention and Deletion
The developer does not store user data on any back-end systems.
- Locally stored app settings (if any) are removed when the app is uninstalled.
- Purchase records and entitlements are maintained exclusively by the platform provider.
- Users may manage or delete purchase-related data through their platform account (e.g., Meta or Apple support).
There is no developer-controlled user data to delete upon request.
Optional Third-Party Storage Services (Dropbox, Google Drive, and User-Hosted Servers)
Mobile VR Station allows users to optionally connect third-party storage services or user-hosted media servers in order to access their own media content.
Supported services may include Dropbox, Google Drive, FTP servers, SMB shares, and user-hosted media servers such as Limited Media Server or DLNA/UPNP.
If a user chooses to connect one of these services, the app may store the following information locally on the user’s device:
- Authentication tokens or credentials provided by the selected service
- Server address and port (for user-hosted servers)
This information is:
- Provided directly by the user through an explicit authorization flow
- Stored only on the user’s device
- Used solely to perform actions the user requests (such as listing, streaming, or downloading media)
- Never transmitted to any developer-controlled server
- Never accessed, collected, or stored by the developer
The app does not collect usernames, passwords, personal identifiers, usage analytics, or content metadata beyond what is required to perform the requested operation.
To remove this information, users may revoke access through the third-party service, remove the configured connection within the app, or uninstall the app, which deletes all locally stored credentials.
Data the Developer Does Not Collect
Mobile VR Station does not collect or process:
- Names, email addresses, or account identifiers
- Payment or billing information
- Device identifiers, IP addresses, or location data
- Usage analytics, behavioral data, or telemetry
- Media content beyond what the user selects locally
The developer operates no back-end services and receives no user data from the app.
Data the Developer Does Not Collect or Store
The developer does not collect, receive, or store:
- Names, email addresses, or contact information
- Personal payment information

Platform-Provided Diagnostics
The platform provider (such as Meta, Apple, Google) may collect crash logs, performance metrics, or diagnostic information as part of operating the platform.
The developer does not access or receive this data.
